Situated just outside Carmarthen town is an indoor Climbing and Bouldering Centre set inside the former St. David’s Church on Picton Terrace. We have top rope climbing and lead climbing up to 12 metres and an 11 metre long bouldering area. We also serve a variety of hot and cold drinks including the wonderful Teifi coffee and a selection of yummy cakes and snacks. Parking is also available on site but there are a number of car parks in Carmarthen if our carpark is full.
We opened the centre back in December 2020 and although it was during the COVID 19 pandemic we managed to steadily grow the business into what we have today with a fantastic climbing community.

Whether you are new to climbing or an experienced climber we have something for everyone. We have taster sessions for those who have never tried climbing or have very little experience, courses to teach you the skills needed to climb unsupervised or if you already climb or boulder then all you need to do is register, turn up and have fun! We also have ‘belay buddy Wednesday’ or our ‘Adult Social’ every Friday night for those who might not have a climbing partner. If it’s the kids you’d like to get climbing then we have after school and weekend clubs they can join.
We also provide sessions for schools and groups which can be arranged outside of our normal opening hours if required. We can offer a 1 off Taster session or provide a more structured set of sessions where we follow the NICAS syllabus. The children will then receive a certificate after achieving each level. Children are welcome to climb at the Centre under the supervision of a competent, registered adult climber or if booked on to one of our Instructed Taster Sessions. If you wish to register to supervise you must either be an experienced climber, or have completed our Adult Beginner Course.
Parents/guardians who are registered may only sign in 2 children per adult in the Centre at any given time. This is because we know how hard it is to keep your eyes on one child at a time, let alone two!
Children aged under 14 years of age may not climb at the Centre unsupervised at any time.
Children between the ages of 14 and 17 years of age may climb unsupervised at the Centre, providing that they have passed our Junior Sign-off. Booking in advance required.
If you are an experienced climber then there’s no need to book. Just check our social media for updates on our route setting dates.
If you would like to book on to a Taster session or one of our courses then booking is essential.
